Preparing for your first B.E.S.T. session

Learning About B.E.S.T.

You may not have had a chance to see what B.E.S.T. is actually about, so I wanted to share these resources.

This brochure provides a quick overview of what BEST is, and its origins.

What happens during a B.E.S.T. session (~30 min) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1recyjQm3sc

shows the technique applied along with explanations that provide the rationale behind it.

In simple terms, B.E.S.T. reconnects the Conscious/Sub-Conscious neurocircuitry to facilitate healing

Spiritual B.E.S.T. helps to bring you to a greater understanding of who are as a soul and seeing life's lessons through a new lens

Pre-Session Preparation

Clearing past situations commonly comes up as one of the initial priorities to heal the body. Through BEST we approach that priority in a couple of ways.

Prior to our first appointment please prepare 2 lists on 2 separate pages - one you will title "People" and the other "Events". On each page number lines from 1 - 10.

would encourage you to start working on as soon as possible. I suggest an initial brainstorm of ~5-10 minutes on each, and then add to them as more people and events come to mind. There are no rules for what goes on your lists; simply have confidence your subconscious will guide it.

To get the most benefit it is recommended you focus on the people and events that have had a profound impact on your life … including those which trigger you, have been traumatic or deeply emotional (positive ones too). You don’t have to fill either list (and you can add more if you like) – simply trust what comes up and don’t judge it. You will have a better sense of how the lists are used after your first session. I encourage you to continue adding to them between sessions as well. Feel free to use any sheet of paper. What is important is that each item you list is numbered sequentially, because the person/event will only be referred to by the number associated with it on your sheet. It remains totally private (unless you wish to share it with me).

Think about the #1 thing you would like to work on and/or some health or relationship goals. It helps to choose things that can be measured (i.e., level of pain, etc.) to better gauge your progress, rather than choosing something like “prevent dementia” which we can’t really measure.
